Most genius thing Trump does is relentlessly go after the media. He fucking hammers them nonstop about everything and has throughout his entire campaign and beyond and it’s worked wonders. It’s genius. Name me one person not in the media that’s pro-media. Who hops on social media or on TV and goes “you know what, the American mainstream media is awesome. They really do a great job. They’re all great, honest people with great intentions I love them.”
Nobody ever. It’s not cool. And Trump constantly attacking them is a 100% of the time win/win for Trump. It’s like Portnoy walking into a Gillette tailgate, grabbing a mic and screaming “FIRE GOODELL!” Crowd goes fucking NUTS every. single. time. Hell KFC or Goodell himself could do it and get the same reaction. It’s bulletproof. It’s like when your girl picks a fight, you respond, and outta nowhere she starts saying “why are you getting so mad?” when you’re not even mad. She says it a couple times and all the sudden you’re fucking mad because she keeps saying you’re mad even though you’re not mad but now you’re mad. It sucks but it’s bulletproof. Nothing you can do about it.
Circumventing the media and tweeting your takes out yourself and using that medium to shit on the media that you’re circumventing is an invincible move. And the people LOVE it. You penser the media into an impossible spot. If they lash out at Trump they’re proving his point and look even more anti-Trump. If they defend, well then they’re just on the defensive and that always looks weak. And if they just laugh it off/ignore it they’re irresponsible and not doing their job. Win/win/win for DJT and legit not one media organization save BNN has figured out how to handle it.
I honestly believe this guy is 50% clown and 50% genius. It’s fucking wild.
